Successful Water Chestnut Cleanup



A group of your neighbors came together Saturday afternoon, August 15th, to remove a large patch of water chestnuts that were found in the Northwest corner of the lake recently.

If you see water chestnuts in the lake anytime, please gently pull the plant out trying to get all of the root system. Then the plant will need to be disposed of properly - not in the watershed. Would you also please alert the DLA to the fact that you found water chestnuts so we can stay on top of them in the future.
