If you have never been to the Gas Up down in the Schoharie valley this is the last weekend to check it out until next year. A quick trip from Duane Lake, this annual free event is something I look forward to every year and is full of sights and sounds for all ages. Right now the forecast looks promising for a rain break, more so Saturday late morning and early afternoon. Bring a handful of cash and get yourself some homemade ice cream, flavors rotate throughout the day...it may be the real reason I like to go?!
